Job Description
A telecommunications firm is looking for an IT Helpdesk and Support Executive to join its team in Bahrain. The successful candidate has to maintain a robust IT helpdesk and support service for customers in Bahrain as well as offer electronic troubleshooting advice.
Responsibilities:
• Ensure all security infrastructure is in place and functional.
• Liaise with vendors providing first line support for desktop IT and enterprise network.
• Conduct routine maintenance processes and handle spontaneous malfunctions as required.
• Research best industry practices in desktop and helpdesk operations, systems and technology.
• Ensure that applications and network are accessible to all users and are operational at all times.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Electrical engineering or equivalent from a recognized university.
• At least 3 - 5 years of IT experience with a focus on desktop/helpdesk support in the telecommunications industry, ideally in the GCC.
