IMMEDIATE REQUIREMENTS FOR A MULTINATIONAL CONTRACTING & MAINTENANCE COMPANY BASED IN SAUDI ARABIA
1) HEALTH & SAFETY ENGINEER
Must be suitably qualifi ed in all aspects of Health and Safety, been employed in a utility or industrial environment for a minimum of 10 years, with a proven track record. Must be able to supervise all aspects of the work to ensure safe working practices, have a clear understanding of standards of Health, Safety and Fire regulations. Able to write policies and procedures, update them periodically as needed to refl ect better practices and changes in the international standards. Must be able to teach Health and Safety regulations in the English language, be able to write clear and concise incident reports and make recommendations for improvements.
2) CIVIL ENGINEERBS Degree in Civil Engineering. With eight (8) years experience in civil construction and maintenance. Suffi cient experience in planning, programming and estimating civil construction and maintenance projects. Working knowledge of construction codes and standards and good report writing skills. Able to speak, read and write in English.
3) MULTICRAFT FOREMAN
Must have a Degree / Diploma in Electrical / Civil / Mechanical discipline. Minimum work experience of 10 years in electrical, mechanical, civil construction and maintenance. Must have knowledge of fi re alarms, electronic and air conditioning systems. Able to locate equipment or failures and operating irregularities by making necessary diagnostic tests, measurements, analyses, and repairing them. Able to provide work direction to craftsmen. Able to read blueprints and electrical diagrams. Know and understand codes and standards. Good command of English. Possess a valid driver’s license.
4) VRD FOREMAN
Responsible for supervising the execution of all external works within the allocated and planned time and budget in accordance with project specifi cations of execution drawings. Supervise and direct the day-to-day activities and tasks assigned to the Foremen to ensure proper execution of their work. Coordinate between external works and different trades to ensure smooth fl ow of work. Monitor the progress of work on site and compare it against the shop drawings and specifi cations of the contract document. Distribute the approved drawings and sketches among the Foremen to ensure adherence to the work plans and drawings. Assist the Site Superintendent of the External Works to ensure that external work activities are executed as per plans and project requirements. Submit all required materials to the Site Superintendent of External Works for approval upon fi nal approval of drawings. Monitor the availability of stock in coordination with the Storekeeper to ensure availability of materials, as required. Diploma holder in Civil Engineering, with 5–7 years of experience.
