CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

B.Sc. / B.E. Civil Engineering with a minimum of 15-20 years experience in construction fi eld, out of which 5 years as a Construction Manager in the UAE within a building construction contracting company. Key tasks and responsibilities include work preparation, planning construction, coordination of site staff, ensuring the right equipment are on site, operation, planning and control of material movement and supervision and directing construction activities according to the technical criteria including coordination with various trades, construction methodologies, method statements and proper choice of scaffolding & erection systems. Preferably Arab nationals.

PROJECT ENGINEER / SECTION ENGINEER

B.Sc. / B.E. Civil Engineering with 7-15 years of experience in the building construction industry. Key tasks & responsibilities include coordination of various activities, maintaining the project schedules, ensuring materials at site are always available, plant and equipment required are available, checking drawings for any discrepancies and reporting the same to the construction manager, ensuring adequate number of labourers are available on site to perform the work in time. Supervise all work of subcontractors with the help of site engineers and foremen.

SITE ENGINEER

B.Sc. / B.E. Civil Engineering with 2-5 years of experience as a Site Engineer in the building construction industry. Key tasks & responsibilities include coordination of various activities, maintaining the project schedules, ensuring materials at site are always available, plant and equipment required are available, checking drawings for any discrepancies and reporting the same to the construction manager, ensuring adequate number of laborers are available on site to perform the work on time. Supervise all work of subcontractors with the help of the foremen.

LAND SURVEYOR

Diploma / Certificate holder in Land Surveying, with a minimum of 5-10 years experience in the construction
field in the UAE and possess good knowledge of using Total Station. Key tasks and responsibilities include
field surveying to obtain data for base plans, making exact measurements and determining property boundaries. Provide data relevant to the shape, contour, gravitation, location, elevation or dimension of land for engineering, map making, land evaluation,construction and other purposes.

MATERIALS CONTROLLER / STOREKEEPER

Graduate in any discipline with a one-year Diploma in Computer Applications and 2-5 years of experience in a Gulf country in a building construction / MEP contracting company as a Materials Controller / Storekeeper. He should be able to monitor the computerized store activity system at site. Knowledge of and working experience in any ERP environment would be an advantage

SENIOR QA/QC ENGINEER

B.Sc. / B.E. Civil Engineering, with minimum 10 years experience in the building construction industry, at least 5 years should have been in a similar position in the UAE. Key tasks and responsibilities include setting up and monitoring quality systems, quality control procedures and plans for civil construction projects, supervising a multi-disciplinary team of QC Inspectors on site, performing internal quality audits and handling all quality issues with project management. The position also involves setting up and providing quality training for the project personnel.

QA/QC INSPECTOR

Degree / Diploma holder in Civil Engineering, with minimum 2-3 years of experience in the QA/QC department in a construction company. Responsibilities include assisting consultants during the inspections and coordinating with the third party lab regarding tests and results. Preparing the documentation of project work, controlling all inspection activities on-site in line with ITPs, ensuring that consultant’s/client’s comments are implemented, inspection of all materials delivered at site to ensure they conform with the specifi ed quality requirements.

SENIOR HSE ENGINEER

Degree / Diploma holder in Engineering / Science, with a one-year Diploma in Safety Management / NEBOSH Certifi cation, 10 years of experience in a safety department and at least 5 years of experience as Senior HSE Engineer in a reputed construction company in the GCC. His responsibility includes checking
all agreed safety standards and applicable regulations are observed, checking proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment including PPEs, checking site security, fi re, fi rst aid and welfare facilities, ensuring that procedures appropriate to the contract are developed and properly maintained, organizing and participating in site safety training programmes, submitting monthly safety and accident reports, attending safety meetings, carrying out regular site safety inspections, investigating all accidents and dangerous occurrences and submitting appropriate reports, setting a high example of health and safety at all times.

HSE OFFICER

Graduate with a one-year Diploma in Safety Management, minimum 5 years of experience in a safety department and at least 3 years of experience as an HSE Offi cer in a reputed building construction company. Key tasks & responsibilities include checking all agreed safety standards and applicable regulations are
observed, checking proper maintenance, calibration and operation of all safety equipment including PPEs, checking site security, fi re, fi rst aid and welfare facilities, ensuring that procedures appropriate to the contract are developed and properly maintained, organizing and participating in site safety training programmes, submitting monthly safety and accident reports, attending safety meetings, carrying out regular site safety inspections, investigating all accidents and dangerous occurrences and submitting appropriate reports, setting a high example of health and safety at all times.

SECURITY GUARD

The ideal candidate must have minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Security Guard in a construction company or a large factory. (Ex-military personnel preferred.)
