Manara Academy is a newly established community college at Cuttack-Bhubaneswar , Orissa under the IGNOU-led Community College Scheme. The college plans to offer Associate Degree/ Diploma Programs in Microfinance and Enterprise Development (flagship program with a component on Islamic Microfinance to be offered in June 2010) as well as in various technical fields. It is looking for a dynamic and experienced full-time Director to lead the college and qualified Instructors in multiple areas of skill-improvement. Priority areas for the technical-skill- improvement programs for the college for the current session are: (i) Heating, Ventilation and Airconditioning Technology(ii) Dairy and Meat Technology (iii) Leather Technology (iv) Organic Farming (v) Primary School Teacher Training.
