Lead Designer - £80K - Slough

A Lead Designer is needed to join a leading technology vendor in Slough. My client is looking to build on their very talented design team located just north of Slough. They are growing at a rapid pace and are looking to sustain this in the next coming years; this is a great opportunity to join a cutting edge technology company, leading the User Experience and Design team. They are one of the industry leaders in the I.T sector. They offer a very strong benefits package, which you would expect from a company of their size. 

You'll be:

- Lead the interaction of the user experience for software-based and web interfaces. 
- Oversee and partake in design deliverables such as mock ups, wireframes, user flows. 
- Manage the process to understand stakeholder requirements, and the needs of the users and business. 
- Work with UX researchers to organise user testing and customer research and gain familiarity between best practices and research methodologies. 
-Create schedules for design deliverables and complex projects.
-Be responsible for directing, motivating, and guiding more junior members of the team.

Skills and Qualifications required:

Advanced knowledge and understanding of software and web development technologies:
-HTML, DHTML, CSS, Flash, JavaScript, AJAX, web 2.0 technologies

Expert level of using design software tools such as:
-Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Microsoft Visio, Axure.

Must have a BA/BS Degree or equivalent in Graphic, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction or Human factors related field.

Must provide an up to date online portfolio with a range of interactive samples.
