3. Manages inventory cost on company stock files to insure PO cost and vendor invoices match replenishment orders;

5. Diligently looks for opportunities to leverage improved cost/price opportunities with suppliers who offer multi-column pricing, and schedules deliveries where possible to maximize such opportunities;
6. Manages safety stock invasions and stock outs via exceptions process in manugistics;
7. Identifies and revises forecast errors via exceptions process in manugistics;
8. Reviews de-expedite report weekly and takes action to reduce or cancel excessive scheduled receipts with supplier where appropriate;
9. Performs stocks rotations in accordance with vendor agreement to insure that excess stocks are eliminated, and provisions minimized;
10. Monitors NPIs on a weekly basis and places POs where necessary to support growths in demand;
11. Reviews manually planned products on a monthly basis to identify where products can be forecasted and planed automatically via manugistics;
12. Weekly reviews scheduled customer orders (pack & holds) to insure sufficient inventories are in place to support the next months requirements;
13. Manages disposition of discrepant vendor deliveries via receiving database to insure prompt decisions are made and limit delays to Allied customers;
14. Works with PMM & PM to insure correct inventory mix is in place to support catalog offering, specifically top runners;
15. Investigate and identify inventory related challenges both alone and at the direction of Director, and working in conjunction with the PMM and PM to formulate and document corrective actions.
