• Bachelor or Master’s degree in analytical or organic chemistry with good professional experience in a well reputed environmental laboratory.
Working Experience:
• Laboratory Manager/Chief Chemist in an environmental laboratory, with demonstrable skills in planning, scheduling, sampling and analysis.
• Procuring laboratory items, equipments, chemicals, spare parts, consumables, and supplies.
• Periodic maintenance of laboratory equipments.
• Chemical analysis of water and wastewater (potable, sea, ballast, irrigation, cooling, reclaimed, brine, sewage and industrial wastewater), air pollution samples, solid and hazardous waste samples, biological and chemical monitoring of ecosystem.
• Hands on experience with modern equipments like ICP, GC/MS, AAs, UV/Vis spectrometer, Ion chromatograph, HPLC and other equipments used in environmental laboratories.
• Versatile experience in laboratory management system, SOP preparation, calibration and standardization of equipments, method developments to cope with latest techniques, data management, R&D and quality control and quality assurance.
Other requirements:
• Must be fluent in English.
• Ability to write concise technical reports for analysis of data in support of related disciplines.
